Toronto, ON, September 2024 — The Canada India Tech Council (CITC), in partnership with The Consulate General of India (Toronto), Manulife, and TheAppLabb, is proud to announce the prestigious 2024 CITC Annual Awards Gala to spotlight the top technology leaders of Indo-Canadian heritage who are shaping the future of the sector to drive innovation in Canada. This exclusive, invite-only event will take place on September 27th, 2024, at Manulife Financial Headquarters, beginning at 5:30 PM EDT.
The CITC Annual Awards Gala is the marquee event of the year, bringing together over 200 of the most influential Indo-Canadian tech leaders from across Canada. Attendees include Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), and Heads of Technology from leading tech enterprises. The event aims to celebrate and honor the achievements of the brightest minds in the technology sector who have made groundbreaking strides in their respective fields.
Among the highlights of the evening will be the presentation of the Tech Leader of the Year Award, recognizing the remarkable accomplishments of the industry’s top professionals. This year’s distinguished nominees include leaders from prominent organizations such as Manulife, Bell, CIBC, Porter Airlines, Lightspeed Commerce, Shared Services Canada, Canada Life, Metrolinx, Sunlife, The North West Company, BMO, TD Bank, Pet Valu, Sick Kids Hospital, Fairfax, Loblaw, WestJet, Subaru, CPP, City of Toronto, and more.
