Mississauga, ON (Jan., 2025) — The birthing suite staff at Trillium Health Partners – Mississauga Hospital proudly delivered Mississauga’s first baby of 2025 to parents Samreen and Mahmood. Baby boy Huzaifa was born at 12:00:04 a.m. on January 1, 2025, weighing 9 lbs. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. This year, Trillium Health Partners will not allow media access to the hospital, but the family has consented to share a quote and photo.
“We were planning for a due date of December 31, but he decided to wait until 2025 for his birthday!” said the family. The shared photo features baby Huzaifa with his parents, Samreen and Mahmood.
