Homicide investigators have confirmed that human remains found in the Fraser River in Richmond, B.C., belong to 28-year-old Navdeep Kaur from Surrey, who was reported missing earlier this year.
Navdeep was last seen around 10:30 p.m. on February 22 in the 7800 block of Surrey, and her family expressed concern for her well-being, as it was unusual for her not to reach out to them.
On July 23, Richmond RCMP discovered the remains in an industrial area at the end of Williams Street. They worked with the coroner’s service to confirm her identity.
