Homicide Investigators Appeal For Public Assistance Following Mississauga Shooting

Officers from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating a fatal shooting in Mississauga.

On March 20, 2023, at approximately 7:36 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the area of Dream Crest Road and Alicante Street in the City of Mississauga. The shooting victim died as a result and has been identified as Bryan Lara-Alvarez, a 29-year-old man from Mississauga. 

A grey, 4-door, newer model SUV was seen leaving the crime scene. (Please see attached photo and included video clip) Anyone with information or additional video footage (dashcam or otherwise) concerning the suspects and the vehicle is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 extension 3205.
