City of Brampton to host Eid al-Adha celebration at Gage Park on June 7

BRAMPTON, ON (May 22, 2025) – The City of Brampton invites residents to Gage Park to celebrate Eid al-Adha, a significant festival in the Muslim calendar. Known as the Festival of Sacrifice, Eid al-Adha is a time for prayer, gratitude and giving back to the community. 

Community Eid

Date: Saturday, June 7
Time: 2 to 5 pm
Location: Gage Park 

Families can enjoy free activities and stage entertainment, with Halal food trucks on site offering a variety of dishes available for purchase. In the spirit of Eid, which celebrates community and generosity, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or new unwrapped toys for donation to local organizations. 

This event is generously sponsored by Sheridan College.
