The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a homicide investigation.
On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at approximately 12:14 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the Sherbourne Street and Shuter Street area.
It is reported that:
- a man was located inside a vehicle with a gun shot wound
- the man was pronounced deceased on scene
The victim has been identified as Mohamed Ahmed, 36, of Toronto.

Mohammed Abdullahi, 34, of Toronto, is wanted for:
- First Degree Murder
