The Ontario PC Party announced that Amarjot Sandhu has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Brampton West in the next provincial general election.
Since being elected as MPP in 2018, Amarjot Sandhu has delivered for Brampton West, securing investments in Highway 413, expanding GO Train service, and championing the Hazel McCallion Light Rail Transit (LRT) project. His leadership has driven historic infrastructure improvements, created jobs, strengthened health-care access and built more homes, directly benefiting the residents of Brampton West.
“Amarjot Sandhu has been a strong advocate for his community, delivering results that matter to families in Brampton West,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “From reducing gridlock to expanding housing and health care, Amarjot has worked tirelessly to make life better for the people he represents. He’s also stood strong against the Liberal carbon tax, which is driving up costs for families across Ontario. I’m proud to have Amarjot on our team as we continue fighting for hardworking people and building a brighter future for this province.”
Amarjot and the Ontario PC Party will continue to make life more affordable for families in Brampton West by supporting job creation, improving health-care access, and expanding transit and housing infrastructure.
“I am honored to represent the vibrant community of Brampton West,” said Amarjot Sandhu. “Together, we’ve made meaningful strides—whether it’s investing in critical infrastructure, building more housing, or bringing health-care services closer to home. However, there’s more work to be done. I am committed to listening to residents, advocating for their needs, and continuing to make Brampton West a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”
