PM Modi addresses gathering at Uttarakhand: ‘There should be no off-season in state’

PM Modi on Thursday reached Uttarakhand and was welcomed at the airport by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. As per the schedule, PM performed pooja and darshan at the winter seat of Ganga in Mukhwa. Following this, he flagged off a trek and bike rally in Harsil. PM Modi addressed public gathering at Harsil and expressed condolensces on Mana (Chamoli) avalanche incident.

While addressing the rally, PM Modi said Uttarakhand’s tourism should be on going. “The tourism sector needs to be diversified and we need to make it ‘Barahmasi’, 365 days. This is very important for Uttarakhand. I want no season to be off-season in Uttarakhand. Even during the off-season, tourism should be ongoing (in Uttarakhand),” the PM said.
