Parliament Budget Session 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed the nation ahead of the budget session of Parliament. The first part of budget session will continue till February 13 and the two Houses will again meet on March 10 after recess with the session concluding on April 4. During his address, he expressed his hope and prayers for the continued blessings of Maa Lakshmi on the poor and middle class of India. He also emphasised the significance of this moment, stating, “It is a matter of great pride that India has completed 75 years as a democratic nation.”
PM Modi highlighted India’s growing stature on the global stage, noting that the country has firmly established itself in international affairs. Reflecting on his tenure, he pointed out that this will be the first complete budget of his third term, mentioning its importance in shaping India’s future. “I pray that Maa Lakshmi continues to bless the poor and middle class of our country. It is a matter of great pride that India completed 75 years as a democratic nation. India has established itself well on the global pedestal…This is the first complete budget of my third term. I can confidently say that in 2047, when India will complete 100 years of Independence, India will fulfil its aim of Viksit Bharat and this budget will give new energy and hope to the nation,” the PM added.
