Premier Doug Ford has made some changes to his cabinet to help focus on rebuilding Ontario’s economy and keeping the public safe. Jill Dunlop is now the new Education Minister, and Nolan Quinn will take on the role of Minister of Colleges and Universities. Kevin Holland has joined as the Associate Minister of Forestry and Forest Products, while Graham McGregor is the new Associate Minister of Auto Theft and Bail Reform.
Ford shared his excitement about the new appointments, saying that they will help bring better jobs and higher wages to people across Ontario. He also expressed gratitude to Todd Smith, who has stepped down as Minister of Education and MPP for Bay of Quinte to move into the private sector. Ford thanked Smith for his hard work in reducing energy costs and helping families and businesses, and wished him success in his next career step.
