The upcoming epic Ramayana will make its highly anticipated debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, with stars Ranbir Kapoor and Yash joining producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari for the world premiere of the film’s trailer on July 23.
According to the official Comic-Con schedule, the panel will be held in Ballroom 20, the convention’s second-largest venue, which can accommodate nearly 4,800 attendees. The showcase marks one of the most prominent appearances by an Indian film at the world’s largest pop culture convention.
The event will feature the first public screening of the Ramayana trailer, along with exclusive footage, special announcements, live performances and giveaways for fans.
Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Rama, and Yash, who portrays Ravana, will headline the panel alongside the film’s creative team. The session is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. PDT on July 23, which corresponds to 3:45 a.m. to 4:45 a.m. IST on July 24.
The Comic-Con announcement follows the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granting a ‘U’ (Universal)certificate to the film’s 4-minute-15-second trailer, clearing it for public release.
San Diego Comic-Con 2026 will also host several major Hollywood presentations, including a panel led by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, who is expected to unveil future plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and potentially debut footage from Avengers: Doomsday.
Other marquee events include the premiere of Stan Lee: The Final Chapter, a documentary on the legendary Marvel creator, and a special presentation by A24 for its upcoming sci-fi action film Onslaught, featuring director Adam Wingard and members of the cast.
