Kyiv: The sound of explosions rang out in central Kyiv on Monday morning during rush hour as Ukraine’s military warned of a massive Russian missile and drone attack following waves of drone attacks in the early hours. At least three people were killed in Ukraine during massive Russian air strikes on Monday, regional authorities said. The casualties were reported in western Lutsk, eastern Dnipro and southern Zaporizhzhia regions.
The Russian attack, which President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed more than 100 drones hit the country, interrupted electricity services in the city. Some news channels went off air due to outage.
