Peel Region – A 78-year-old Brampton man has been arrested in connection with a disturbing case involving the sexual assault of a minor.
According to Peel Police’s Special Victims Unit, in early May 2025, the accused allegedly approached and sexually assaulted a girl under the age of 12 on three separate occasions at Giffen Family Park, near Bramalea Road and Larkspur Road in Brampton.
On Wednesday, May 8, Harmohinder Singh was taken into custody and charged with:
▪ Three counts of Sexual Assault – Female under 17
▪ Three counts of Sexual Interference
Singh is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
