20 Dec: Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh delivered a fiery response to an advisory issued against him ahead of his Mumbai concert. Speaking to fans during the event, Diljit assured them of a thrilling experience and promised “double the fun.” The concert took place on December 19, marking yet another high-energy performance by the artist.
In a video shared on Instagram by Team Dosanjh, Diljit addressed the situation humorously, saying, “I asked my team if an advisory had been issued, and they said everything was fine. But I woke up in the morning to discover one had been issued.”
He confidently added, “Don’t worry, all advisories are for me. You’ve come to have fun, and I’ll ensure you have double the fun!”
During the event, Diljit drew inspiration from the mythological story of ‘Samudra Manthan.’ He explained how, in the tale, the Devtas consumed the amrit (holy nectar) while Lord Shiva took in the poison, holding it in his throat without letting it affect him.
Reflecting on the story, Diljit shared, “I’ve learned that no matter how much poison life or the world throws at you, never let it seep inside. Don’t let negativity interfere with your work or peace. Enjoy life and keep having fun.”
The singer concluded his remarks with a recreation of Allu Arjun’s iconic “Ye Jhukega Nahi” step from Pushpa, energizing the crowd before launching into his performance.
Diljit’s last concert was in Chandigarh on December 14, which sparked a legal discussion after noise levels were found to have exceeded permissible limits. The Punjab and Haryana High Court will address the matter in January.
The Dil-Luminati Tour, which began on October 26 in Delhi, has captivated fans across cities like Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. Following his Mumbai concert, Diljit will perform in Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Indore, and Chandigarh, with the tour concluding in Guwahati on December 29.
