Fire Station 102 in Lakeview was officially reopened on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with a special community event attended by Ward 1 Councillor Stephen Dasko, Mayor Carolyn Parrish, and local residents. The ceremony featured performances by the Mississauga Fire Drum and Pipes, singer Mikey Bloom, and a reading by Poet Laureate Andrea Josic. Guests toured the upgraded facility, explored fire trucks, and learned life-saving tips at fire safety booths.
