York Regional Police are investigating after a shooting was reported early Monday morning in Vaughan. Officers responded to the area of Bathurst Street and Teston Road around 5 a.m. on October 27, following reports of gunfire. Police confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.
A dark-coloured vehicle was seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting, according to investigators. Officers remained on scene through the morning, canvassing the neighbourhood for witnesses, video footage, and other evidence that could help identify those involved. A significant police presence was visible in the area as the investigation continued. Authorities said more information would be released following a scheduled media update later in the morning.
