Lok Sabha elections 2024: Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday (May 9) took a veiled attack on All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi.
Priyanka Gandhi spoke to the media and said, “I am telling you again and again. Asaduddin Owaisi is working directly with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Wherever the BJP needs him to field someone to push back other parties, he is doing it. It has become very clear in Telangana elections.”
She added that it has become very clear that the Hyderabad Member of Parliament (MP) is working with the saffron party in Telangana polls.
Priyanka pays tribute to martyrs at Kisan Shaheed Memorial
“Today, I paid tribute to the martyrs at the Kisan Shaheed Memorial in Munshiganj area of Raebareli,” Priyanka posted on X.
In 1921, the British government fired bullets on the farmers to suppress the farmers’ movement led by Baba Ramchandra Ji and Madari Pasi Ji. Hundreds of farmers were martyred. After this, Pandit Motilal Nehru and Jawaharlal Nehru Ji reached Raebareli and met the affected farmers. Nehru Ji was arrested for the first time in this movement.
