Taste Of The Danforth Toronto’s Favourite (And Canada’s Largest) Street Festival Returns With Global Flavours And Free Entertainment

 TASTE OF THE DANFORTH

Come for the Food. Stay for the Fun.

Friday, August 7 – 6:00 PM – Midnight

Saturday, August 8 – 12:00 PM – Midnight

Sunday, August 9 – 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Canada’s largest street Festival is officially back!

From Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th, approximately 1.5 million attendees will gather on Danforth Avenue for three unforgettable days celebrating food, music, culture, entertainment and community. Admission is free.

Taste of the Danforth’s Greek heritage will always be at the heart of the Festival. At the same time, the Danforth has evolved, just as our City, Province and Country have. Today, the Festival reflects a diverse and inclusive Canada—with a “dollop of tzatziki” on top.

The Greater Toronto Area is home to more than 200,000 residents of Greek ancestry, making it one of the largest Hellenic communities outside Greece. Visitors come to experience what we like to call being “Greek for the Day,” while celebrating the incredible diversity of Toronto and the street. There are over one hundred participating restaurants and stores.

Today, the Taste of the Danforth offers an incredible culinary journey featuring over 25 international cuisines. Participating restaurants will once again offer their popular “Taste” menus, allowing visitors to sample multiple restaurants, at affordable prices. Many featured menu items begin at just $6.

But Taste of the Danforth is about much more than just food. Families and friends can enjoy world-class entertainment, cultural performances, interactive activities and attractions throughout the Festival—all free. GreekTown on the Danforth Business Improvement Area
