Relocating to a new country can be equal parts exciting and challenging. It’s a departure from the familiar and often comes with a lot of questions. From opening a bank account, building a good Canadian credit score, to exploring opportunities to grow your money over time, banking in Canada is filled with nuances that can be overwhelming to many newcomers.
What: To help support the newcomer experience and make the financial transition as seamless as possible, local TD branches in Toronto Metro East and Metro West regions will be hosting a special “New to Canada” day. TD multilingual colleagues will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions and provide advice to newcomers on day-to-day banking needs, mortgages, registered savings plans, investing, and more.
