New Delhi: Actor and politician Kangana Ranaut recently revealed that she was compelled to sell her Mumbai property following the delay in the release of her directorial venture, Emergency. The film’s launch was postponed due to a delay in receiving the necessary censor certificate.
Reports surfaced earlier this month indicating that Ranaut sold her Pali Hill bungalow in Bandra for ₹32 crore, a property she had originally purchased in 2017 for ₹20.7 crore.
The political drama, which Ranaut also wrote and co-produced, was originally set for release on September 6. However, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has yet to grant approval for the film’s release.
